Terms of Use

1. The Live Games website is operated and maintained by Geewa s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic with company registration number 256 17 036.

2. By visiting, accessing, browsing and/or using the Site and/or any of the services offered on the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following terms of use and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You represent that you have the capacity to enter into this agreement.
3. Should you believe that Live Games infringes the rights of third parties (e.g. copyright with respect to a game) please immediately communicate this to info@geewa.com and indicate the nature of the suspected copyright infringement and the identity of the person whose right has been infringed. Geewa shall take immediate action to verify the copyright infringement claim and take corrective action should it prove necessary.
4. Geewa is not responsible in the highly unlikely event of any health complications arising as a result of playing games on Live Games. Furthermore, Geewa is not responsible for any technical outages during the playing of games.
5. Geewa highly recommends visitors to Live Games take at least a 10 minute break away from their computer for every hour spent on the site. Should you discover that the playing of games on Live Games causes you health complications such as headaches or dizziness then Geewa strongly recommends you immediately stop playing, switch off your computer and seek medical assistance.
6. Any claims related to Live Games will be governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and any legal proceedings will be conducted by the relevant courts of the Czech Republic.

8. Rules of Conduct - You understand that all information, data, images or other materials ("Content"), uploaded to Live Games are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. This means that you are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, post or otherwise make available on Live Games. Geewa does not control the Content posted and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content. You understand that by using Live Games, you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. Under no circumstances will Geewa be liable in any way for any Content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any Content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, uploaded or otherwise made available via Live Games.
   
   You agree to not use Live Games to upload, post or otherwise make available any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
   
   You acknowledge that Geewa may or may not pre-screen Content, but that Geewa shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to pre-screen, refuse, or remove any Content that is available on Live Games. Without limiting the foregoing, Geewa shall have the right to remove any Content that violates the terms of use or is otherwise objectionable.
9. Virtual Currency Geewa cash (G cash)
   
   Registered users with Geewa are able to purchase virtual items using the virtual currency Geewa cash. Geewa cash may be acquired after becoming a registered user on Live Games. Geewa cash can only be used for purchasing virtual items on Live Games.
   
   Once purchased, Geewa cash has no value other than for use on Live Games. Using Geewa cash for any purpose other than as authorized on Live Games, whether online or offline is a violation of these terms and conditions. Geewa cash may not be exchanged for real world currency.
10. Virtual Currency Geewa points (G points)
    
    Registered users with Geewa are able to purchase virtual items and place a stake on selected multiplayer games using the virtual currency Geewa points. Geewa points may be acquired after becoming a registered user on Live Games.
    
    Geewa points may be allocated to you free of charge or acquired for play by users for a price stated in the price schedule, or else obtained free of charge in accordance with the terms of any promotion organized by Geewa as part of the service operation.
    
    You may top up your account with Geewa points by using the payment channels offered by Geewa or by way of gaining the game chips in accordance with the terms and conditions of the promotional campaigns run by Geewa. Your account shall also be credited with the Geewa points won by you in those games where this feature is enabled. You may at any time check the current balance of your account.
    
    Where we consider there to have been a system failure affecting a game which prevents the game from completing, we will declare that game void and any outstanding Geewa points stake will be returned to your account.
    
    Once purchased, Geewa points has no value other than for use on Live Games. Using Geewa points for any purpose other than as authorized on Live Games, whether online or offline is a violation of these terms and conditions. Geewa points may not be exchanged for real world currency.
11. Payments
    
    Geewa reserves the right to change our fees or billing methods at any time.
    
    You may pay fees using the methods available on Live Games and you agree to the terms and conditions applicable to each payment method you choose. When you provide credit card or other payment information to Live Games, you represent to Live Games that you are the authorized user of the credit card or other payment method.
    
    As the Account holder, you are responsible for all charges incurred and all purchases made by you or anyone that uses your Account, including your family or friends. This means that, unless your Account or payment information is obtained unlawfully or fraudulently by someone other than those authorized by you to use your Account, you will be responsible for all usage and purchases on your Account.
    
    FEES ARE PAYABLE IN ADVANCE AND ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IN WHOLE OR IN PART.
12. Professional (Pro) Account – Pro accounts require payment of a fee. You must be a registered user and pay the subscription fee to be a Pro user. For information about subscription fees visit Help at Live Games.
13. Casino games - To take part in some casino games, such as Poker4Chips, you will need to possess game chips. Game chips may be allocated to you free of charge or acquired for play by users for a price stated in the price schedule, or else obtained free of charge in accordance with the terms of any promotion organized by Geewa as part of the service operation.
    
    You may top up the account with game chips by using the payment channels offered by Geewa or by way of gaining the game chips in accordance with the terms and conditions of the promotional campaigns run by Geewa. The Account shall also be credited with the game chips won by you in the games offered via the service. You may at any time check the current balance of your account in the service.
    
    The game chips shall be the property of Geewa. It may not be used outside the service, exchanged for any means of payment, or traded.
    
    In special cases, in particular if it is necessary to make technical changes to the service, Geewa reserves the right to cancel the balance in your account. If such a cancellation is made, Geewa shall restore the flow of game chips recorded in your account during at least 90 days prior to the date on which your balance was cancelled and shall grant you such an amount of the game chips as the account was topped up with during the 90 days' period.
    
    Upon the close down of your account in the service for any reason, the game chips collected therein shall be cancelled. You shall not be entitled to pursue any claims for the cancellation.
14. Termination of Account - Geewa may terminate your Account(s) (and access to all related entitlements) for violation of this Terms of Service, illegal or improper use of your Account on Live Games.
    
    If your Account on Live Games is terminated, no refund will be granted and you will have no further access to your Account or entitlements associated with your Account (such as virtual currency or other digital items).
    
    Geewa may also terminate your account if you do not log in to your account for a period of 6 (six) months or more. However, your account will not be terminated due to inactivity if you hold more than 200 G points, more than 1,000 game chips or any amount of G cash.
15. Cancellation of your Account
    
    You have the right to cancel your Account on Live Games at any time. If you do not agree to the terms in this Terms of Service, your sole remedy is to not use Live Games and to cancel your Account or applicable subscriptions. Geewa reserves the right to collect fees incurred before you cancel your Account.
16. Changes to Terms & Conditions
    
    Geewa reserves the right to amend or vary these terms of use at any time and with immediate effect by updating this web page.
